    Cool Custom Build: Matt B

As you may have noticed, I have added a Guitar Forum. As our business continues to roll down the guitar path, we wanted to be able to document our builds for a "diary" and for something to keep the clients involved and part of the process, like we do with the big paint jobs.

Mike recently painted a guitar for Matt, and soon after he received it, he decided he wanted Mike to paint another. After looking around for the guitar he wanted to buy, he decided that he may as well get one custom-built to his specs. Mike and Matt have been discussing all the finer details for about a week, and they now have a completed spec. The build is on!!

Mike will be building an Icon model with an alder body, flame maple neck and a zombie theme finish.

    Stage One:

    Spec Sheet
    Assorted wood
    Neck glue up
    Body glue up

    Stay Tuned!!

PS. Mike will also be building the first spec model Mortal Sin at the same time. I am not sure how closely I will document that one... But I will at least update the "new model" thread as he moves along.

Yes, she does sleep... But I'm pretty sure it's on her feet with a laptop in one hand & a camera in the other...

Very appropriate addition. Hope you guys have nothing short of resounding success with this new venture!

You guys never stop impressing me. In this tough time, you manage to adjust the tone of your buisness to stay on top of your game.
Best of luck in this new adventure! I have a feeling it will be very successful.

Thanks for keeping us in the loop!

Wow. It's going to be really cool seeing my guitar come to life. I've never experienced it like this before. Talk about transparency. Thanks for doing this Mike and Diana.
