Well here he is. I'm a lil disapointed with the bleed and the purple jacket came out really dark in the pic, but over all....another LEARNing experience.:tt2:

Great job Bob!
Not easy reproducing a comic book style that has inked crisp lines with an airbrush. I find that you bringed the airbrush feel to the piece very nicely.

Great LEARNing experience!

Well Russ, altogether around 3 or 4 days. I think I'm getting a better grasp on things and understanding what Mike means when he talks about over working your painting. Things start getting sloppy, you redo white and all kinds of shit if you don't PLAN your attack precisely.Plus I get too antsy, I start to rush things along and that's when even more problems start to happen.

Bob, I do the same thing: if things start to go bad or if I psyche myself into believing I'm messing everything up and will never make it, I start rushing and paint way too fast. It's like I wanna get done as soon as possible to see that I could do it. Not a good idea.

Mike's class helped me relax and take my time to develop everything a step further instead of rushing and skipping steps.

Annie :)

I usually use a brush to get the clean lines if you want it to look comic book. I personally prefer to change it to a complete freehand airbrush look myself though. looking good.
