O.K O.K. I'm a knuckle head, I posted this stuff in albums instead of here. Anyway , here's my first attempt at the wsnh 8 ball and the chain. Let me know what you think!!! Fire away.:7::taz:

mate i like the chains and the rocky marbled back drop
only thing you could add is a shadow under the chain maybe
great job
dont get to worried im a knuckle head too

the white details in the chain just aren't focused enough. The color works it's way into the stone which you did a fine job on. The brush needs to be able to get in there and get the details you are trying to do with out washing out the other areas. Most of it is in the control. That is the exercise though. Trying to do the white with out it blowing out into the background. Practice, practice, practice.

I hear ya Mike. That's why I put that blueish color around the links cause I went to far with the razor technique. Thanx Bro.

looks like your well on your way, pretty much what mikes says, i,m a novice myself so i listen to what the big guys come up with, stone looks great, keep up the good work, we all have to practice, thanks for posting,,

i saw that razor blade thing with the chains on the dvd too.
awesome stuff --- i think you got the right idea just need to build up the white a little more.
Mike makes it look so easy tho --- not so easy when i pick up my ab and try the same thing. lol

well, I think my main problem lies upon using auto air's white at 35 psi. Just blew my shit all over the place lol. live and learn!!
