hi guys, I am new at this and I was painting this bike tank and was useing water base colors , and some water base kandys.. the trouble is that when I was finished with it and it was dry ,I cleaned it with very little water and tack rag and the kandy color just washed off... my Q is when it comes to clearing it is the kandy going to come off and run like it did with the water??? need some answers on please...

Tryer,
No it won't run as long as it's cured and dry.
I'd suggest spraying a light "tack" coat of clear first and then proceed with your medium coats of clear after.
You'll get in trouble every time using water on water-based paints for any wipe down. Best bet is use a tack rag and nothing else.
Others on the board here may have more to add.

Yup,
That is one of the problems with using the water base products. Sorry to hear about your hassles.
