I went to the local wally world last night and they had no more pumpkins :em4600::2guns: So I'll have to try next year.
“The devil inside” as I call it. it has a giant clawed hand poking out of the head of this pumpkin. I used 2 pumpkins to make this and had planed on carving a brain to place in the clawed hand, I ran out of time.

No this isn't me, but someone e-mailed me last night and I had to share it.
Brings a new low to body painting. Di, if you deem this too offensive, please remove.
Sorry & Thanks at the same time!
Happy Halloween!

My 3 yr old daughter did the black basecoat & helped make/attach the ears. She thinks it's the coolest, since she's also gonna be a black cat for Halloween tonight. Ha ha!
(Got 3 more sitting here I hope to get to, but definitely no promises.)

Started carving on a pumpkin last night, for the first time ever. It's a lot of fun! Wish I had started prior to the night before Halloween!! Little more hacking on it when I get home from work, in about 2 hours, then the picture will follow!

Here is my pumpkin.
It was a couple days old when I took the pictures so it was starting to look a little rough.

After 15 years of carving my pumpkins with a big 'ol butcher knife, I decided to try my hand at using the little knives to do my work. Chose a pretty easy design, just to get my feet wet, so to speak. Here's the result!

BTW, that's the elvin script from the "One Ring" Gollum's "Precious" around the side - Hence the title. My Father-In-Law thought it was a signature, lol.
And no, It's not a purchased pattern, 100 % my own design.

Thank you Shane! I'm sure it's my pumpkin masterpiece, I doubt I'll ever go all out like this again. It was really hard on my wrists, and took three days to finish.
