The Official Mike Learn Toast/Roast Birthday Bash Thread

As most of you know, one of Mike's very favorite days of the year is his birthday! He was born on St Patrick's Day and so he has always connected with the whole leprechaun - shamrock thing. While his actual birthday is on Monday, this IS his party and I thought I would start an official Toast or Roast thread.

I will start off with a toast.... will probably roast later.. LOL

To Mike:

A man with so many talents and yet a humble and giving heart. Not only are Micah and I lucky to have you as our family, friend, husband, father, handyman (ha ha ha) and protector, I feel the art world is lucky to have you as an innovator, a pioneer and a mentor.

Thank you for all you do in ALL ASPECTS of your life.

Mike, From the moment I met you you have been wired. There doesn't seem to be an end to your energy. Even after being distroyed by that insanely long trip to Norway you still found the way to teach like no one I have seen before.

I have a tremendous amount of respect for your artistic talens as well as your vision. I am really grateful to count you as one of my friends.

While there are many artists out there pushing their name, yours remains in one of the highest regards. You seem to have a way of teaching that is unsurpassed by others. The care, the one on one interaction and the dedication to quality is above industry standards. You continue to push the envelope, raising the bar higher and higher with each and every project. The contribution you have made to the industry has made a profound impact on others. Without the support of the great people of this site, many may have given up long ago. Without the DVD's and the all day long web cam broadcasts, ma would never know how to start or finish a certain project . The fact that you participate in this forum and chat room VERY actively speaks volumes of your character. You are looked up to by many, myself included, and thought of as a REAL pro. You stay humble, you work hard and you produce some of todays finest works.
