I'm looking at getting the Roland GX-24 and am wondering what type of vinyl Mike used with his "work smarter not harder" video. I loved how easy it was to work with and I was hoping I could buy it from your site. I saw some vinyl at your store and wasn't sure if it was the same stuff. I thought it was a roll but the store has it in sheets.

Also with the plotter, do I need to get different blades in order to cut that vinyl or will it come with the blades I need?

Thanks for all of your support! I need all of it. :)

We insist on Avery Paint Mask (A1828-S) because it is the best to work with, leaves no residue and will not pull up paint.

The GX-24 comes standard with 45º blade that is good for cutting all types of vinyl. We recommend the 60º cemented carbide blade for cutting thicker materials such as the mylar and polyesther products used for making rigid hand held stencils.

As a side note. I use Gerber paint mask. I bought a 50 yard roll a while ago. Its thicker and tends to curl if you apply too much paint. I won't be buying any more after this.

I found the Avery paint mask. Thanks for the advice. You mentioned the hand held stencils. I was wondering what material you use for your hand held shields. The flexible kind that will go with the curv of a tank or helmet?

Thanks in advance!
