Hello again all!

I have posted a question already concerning compressors and recieved some solid advice.

I'm back again! :bigok: :biglaugh:

I'd appreciate some more advice. I've already spent quite a bit of time researching paints, DVD's, stencils etc.

I have a PEAK C-5 AB, am a newb, and my interests include pinup art, women, fantasy involving Earthly and non-Earthly conceptions an would love to learn to paint real flames, blades, military type paintings, and ultimately would like to work with motorcycles and other types of vehicles.

Can anyone reccommend where a newb like myself should start when it comes to these items? For example, I've heard conflicting opinions about HOK an goo things about SEM. Which DVD's are reccommended for the absolute beginner and are they worth it? Which are the best stencil kits around for someone like myself?

I hope I'm not being bothersome. But I'm so new I don't have thousands of dollars to "experiment" with everything and am looking for a good place to start. Including even what to paint on. black and white lic plates for example.

Thanks all!

well the DVDs i would suggest are work smarter not harder and the first belly guns one and as far as paints go you should really try the sem, in my opinion its a lot better then the hok stuff since they changed there resins they have really gone down hill and the stencils well they have some kits in the store and i believe that hr sells them pre cut, if not myself or others on here will cut them for you if you wish ! stop by in the chat room and ask around!:biggthump

Thanks again for the advice Shane!

I'm coming along an will check out and more than likely go with the SEM line.

I look forward to the color chart.

I have the BearAir Bible and didn't see any SEM products.

Of course, I'll be looking all around the site for what I need.

Take care!

Hey there!
The airbrush bible doesn't show the paint kits but you can see them on their website. But the store here has some great SEM kits. There are even some with hard stencils included with the paint. It would be the best deal you could get. You have ready to spray paint with all the colors you need to get started and some cool looking skull stencils. Go to the online store and click on paints and SEM...scroll down a bit and you will see the kits.

Hope this helps!
