Since I have no idea how to use PS or Ill to cut I am using cutstudio.
I keep getting "bad position" error when outting the material in. I select piece then it says bad position after the blade moves to the left.
I alreayd have my desing in cutstudio but I am stuck here and dont know what to do.
Any help?

I had the same sort of thing happen to me.
For some reason I could paste in from Corel and then use cut studio to cut and it was fine.
I believe it is looking for a crop mark...a round black circle...it seems to use them to decide where on the vinyl to cut. Not sure if there is a way around that, its very annoying if you are only cutting patterns, not cutting around printed material.
I have also made the GX-24 my default printer, so that could have had something to do with it... not sure though.
Rolands site was down last time I checked..I'm having a problem with Corels plug-in not letting me cut from within Corel... but pasting to CutStudio worked.
Good Luck!

Oops, I misread your message.
When putting in your material make sure you have the hold down rollers over exch side of the material and that the rollers are i the shaded zones.
That might be part of the problem for ya.

It sounds like your rollers are not in the correct boundries. Set wider or smaller than the pinch rollers position

You have to have your rollers set within the white marks.. always. You can move them around to different markers, but always must have each roller within a white slash.

i only buy 20" x 50', and we buy them 5 at a time.. so i get better pricing than most... but you are looking at $140- $170 for that size wholesale. i cannot really comment on smaller rolls at a retail price.
so 40.00 for a 24"x10yd roll and 20.00 for 12"x10yd plus 8 bucks shipping aint bad huh?

Ok back to the topic.....
I no longer have the error message because the wheels are alligned but it wont cut my outline in cutstudio......wtf?? I can cut circles but the skulll I made wont cut, it just cuts the "crop marks" I think they are, and nothing else. Do I have to like make the whole thing in one line or what?
I think illustrator might work better but havenet had the patience to draw another skull in it because I cant open the cutstudio file in illusttrator.
Can you guys please help me if you have spare time? I am at my friends house using his interenet because mine is out right now so Illl get back ASAP/

Its hard to know what we are dealing with here. are you sure that you have created a vector graphic? how did you draw your skull?

I did that before and it still did the same thing. I can cut now but only in cutstudio. Itll work I guess but Im sure adobe would be better. or corel.

i only cut in cutstudio i just copy from corel then paste into cutstudio as far as i know theres no advantage to cutting straight from corel or adobe a vectors a vector n the cut is the cut.
