Dont miss the first LEARN ACADEMY LIVE Airbrush Techniques class where will attempt to mix LIVE discussion in the Chat Room with LIVE Demo's on the Web Cam.

Class will begin at 6pm PST and last til 7:30. We are planning a few effects demos, but will go where discussion leads us.

This is the first class, come help us work it out - and tailor the LIVE classes to your needs!

But is it too early to ask a question?

I was asked yesterday to paint a couple of thoes red transparent dice like you find in casino's flying through the air with a trailing fire. But I have been racking my brain on just how I would mask and do the transparent dice because I would have to do a front and back of the spots on the dice while still giving it a transparent look.

Sorry if I am making something easy sound hard.....But I gotta know :)

dude

the dots on the other sides are going to be red as the dice are transparent but red,
so where you look at it only 3 of the sides will have 'white' dots.

i would just dust all the main front edges heavier then the rear but i think you only need a lighter edge on the rear and give a bit of fill and also not to heavy on the rear dots , so a red candy can show the die is red, and then you only need to remask the white dots.

hope it makes sence.

just a quick note ,
it would be easier for everyone to have 2 browsers runing , that way you can watch the cam and watch the chatroom at the same time without having to click over to see what is going on :)
