Thumbs up Graphicut Plotter From Ordway Review
The Graphicut Plotter Cutter from Ordway is maunufactured by Creation. This Creation cutter is beeing sold by a lot of sign companies so shop for the best deal. So far Ordway has the better deal as far as I can tell. But some others may offer better packages for just a little more money.

This is a great entry level plotter cutter for all your sign and masking needs.
By following the installation instructions you should have no problem getting up and going. If you are like me and ever need help just get in touch with Ordway and they will be glad to help you as they did me.

I first set the depth of the blade for the Avery paint mask and brought the Tribal Skull into the provided PLT program provided by Ordway after I had converted it to a PTL file in Corel Draw 12. I am sire that Adobe Illustrator can do the same thing. Anyway I set the point of origin and left the cutter set at the factory setting and cut away and after about 4 to 6 minutes there it was cut and ready to use.

the second project I tried was The Taboo stencile Kit sold here in the Learn store.

Again I removed the blade from the cutter mad the depth adjustment so that it was just cutting the material and not the backing.
I then returned the blade to the cutter I left the speed set at 50 and I changed the pressure from 099 to 103.
When I brought the cutter back on line and startted the cut. In a short time it the stencile was cut.

I then very carefully started pulling the stencile from the sticky backing. A lot of the cut outs stayed on the backing which was a very good thing. That left fery few of the smaller area of the mask to weed out. Now I have a stencile ready to use over and over.

I conclusion this could be the first choice of cutter for the person who doesn't have deep pockets for the very high end machines. but for what we do it's perfect.

Pros-------Very well made
Price Reasonable ($695.00 From Ordway)
Easy to control

Cons ------ Software that comes with the cutter needs to be upgradded
noisy cooling fan (But that's just me)

Overall------- On a scale of 1 to 10 I will give aa 8 1/2 ,Very fun to have, very easy to use. If you have the cash get it.

If you need more tecnical information go to the Ordway web site.
