Can someone tell me why I'm sent to aol when I try to download something!
This is driving me crazy!!!!!:thinking: :sasmokin: :aargh4:

What are you trying to download. . . from where. . .

AOL, in the past, had a download manager that was installed on your system if you tried AOL at one time. It is possible that once you try to download a file it triggers the AOL download manager.
If you are on a PC, and you DON'T use AOL (read that part TWICE.... this is assuming you don't use AOL in any shape or form).... you can go to add/remove programs. Look for anything with AOL in the title and click remove. Do a reboot and try again.
All of that is free advice. None is warranted.

aol fills your pc full of crap that thakes ages to get rid of.

i agree with you totally but i DONT garentee it will sort it either.

but i havent found a single thing on this site that wont download correctly...

it is a safe site and is trusted...

you need to tell us what file you are trying to download.

I forgot... all that adivce was assuming you had a PC... I assumed because if you had a MAC there wouldn't be a problem to begin with. hehehe :lmao:

The other thing is that i think we all presumed is that sully has a vector program......

mabye he hasnt, so the pc asked him if it wanted to find an appropriate program to open the file?????????????

I was trying to download some of the files from the library, (i.e.scorpion) I wanted to save strait to a disk, then to my documents and both sent me straight to aol. I will try to remove any more files from aol and see if that helps. Thanks for the advice:hail:

Ok, all aol files are gone and all downloads safely on a cd. So when my corel draw gwts here tomorrow I will be in business!:headbang:
