This is a drum shell I painted for a buddy out east. It is PPG candy over the veneer. I also painted the rerings on the inside of the shell. These are horrible cell phone photos, I have some on the shop camera that I will post when I remember to bring it home. :thinkerg:
These are a few hours after baking the clear before buffing.
I love blue!!

Thank you everyone. It's hard to outdo nature with art.
Blue wood is nice, I did a small jazz drumset about a year ago that was made from Flamed Birch. It's a beautiful wood as well.
